Synopsis
This one day programme will allow Line Managers who are involved in the hiring process to learn how to conduct an interview
assessment of candidates. Participants will learn how to manage their own behaviors, understand and respond to the
behaviors of candidates for a more effective interview process. It will include practice of interview skills and use of assessment
criteria.
Objectives
At the end of the programme, participant should be able to:

- Apply interview techniques for selection of candidates
- Understand how behaviors affect outcome of the interview process
- Learn ways to manage behavior and responses of candidates to solicit information for assessment
- Learn how information obtained can be reviewed and evaluated for hiring decision
Facilitator
Ms Grace Tan has more than 25 years of experience in HR Management, Training and Development. She has practical working
experience in the Banking & Finance, Hospitality, Healthcare and Retail industries. She holds a BA and a Master of Education
(Training & Development) and Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA).
