Synopsis
This one day programme will enable participants to be more effective in written communications. Participants will learn how to
write appropriately for different business correspondence formats, such as email, memorandum, circulars, facsimile and
standard letters.
It will cover basic writing skills as well as appropriate use of English for clarity in facts presented and for better understanding
by their readers.
Objectives
At the end of the programme, participant should be able to:

- Learn how to use various formats of business correspondence more effectively
- Learn how to plan and organize information for various correspondence
- Learn how to present information to ensure understanding of message
- Understand how appropriate use of language can enhance effectiveness of the written correspondence
- Understand the need to balance content and maintain clarity of message
Facilitator
Ms Grace Tan (MEd in Training & Development) has more than 25 years of experience in HR Management, Training and
Development. She has practical working experience in the Banking & Finance, Hospitality, Healthcare and Retail industries.
