PREPARE YOUR BUSINESS FOR RE-EMPLOYMENT LEGISLATION
Designed to prepare companies for the impending re-employment legislation which will be enacted by Jan 1, 2012,
“PREPARE™ (Programme for Re-Employment Practices: A Roadmap for Employers)” provides guidance to companies in
implementing good Human Resource (HR) practices as an integral part of their HR system to facilitate the re-employment
of older workers.
ABOUT PREPARE™ PROGRAMME
PREPARE™ programme adopts a comprehensive and integrated approach to the implementation of re-employment by
focusing on six (06) main HR practices under one strategic framework.
PROGRAMME METHODOLOGY
Delivered by EDC@ASME in collaboration with Alexandra Hospital and Jurong Medical Center, the programme includes a
two-day intensive practical workshop followed by two months of mentoring assistance on HR systems and processes by a
team of experienced HR practitioners and experts from the medical fraternity.
PROGRAMME BENEFITS
b)        Policies, Procedures, Tools and Templates for Company’s Re-Employment;
c)        Follow-Up Advisory by Experienced HR Practitioners and Experts from the Medical Fraternity;
d)        Statement of Attainment (S.O.A.) for Individual under the WDA Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification System (WSQ);
e)        Health Check Equipment for Setting Up of In-Company Health Check Corner;
f)         10 Complimentary Basic Health Screening (Basic Fasting) Vouchers by Alexandra Hospital and Jurong Medical
Centre; and
g)        Certificate of Attendance  for Participating Company that have Successfully Achieved  the Required Deliverables.
PROGRAMME DELIVERABLES
Companies, with the programme support, will be able to show documentary evidence on the implementation of a system
comprising the following areas that are integral to the existing HR system:
a)        Communication to staff or commitment to union the re-employment policy;
b)        Adoption of policy and establishment of procedures for performance appraisal;
c)        Adoption of policy and establishment of procedures for wage system;
d)        Adoption of policy and establishment of procedures for employee counseling; and
e)        Adoption of policy and establishment of procedures for workplace health programme.

PROGRAMME FEE & FUNDING
Programme Fees           : S$2,600
* WDA Funding (90%)    : S$2,340
Payment after subsidy   : S$260
Fees not inclusive of prevailing GST of $182.00

Eligible companies can now enjoy 90% subsidy
on the $2,600 programme fee. By enrolling now,
companies need to pay only $260 (exclusive of
prevailing GST of $182).

Eligibility:
Companies registered or based in Singapore
with at least five (05) Singaporeans or PR
employees. Companies that have previously
received funding under ADVANTAGE! are not
eligible.
